Program is a regional transportation planning agency that coordinates major capital improvement projects among the 11 cities in Kern County, and is responsible for allocating the federal and state funds to implement capital improvement projects. Program also provides the Local Road Safety Plans (LRSPs) which gives an opportunity for the public to leave a comment about safety concerns in their area. Once completed, these plans will help agencied compete for future safety improvement funds manages by the state.
