Description: Case Management Services: Provides direct family support services through case management, parenting classes (including court-mandated), referrals, and promotes parent's knowledge of developmental milestones and norms. Provides early learning through home-based and kindergarten summer bridge transition activities.Summer Bridge Program is offered in June and July to children who will be entering Transitional Kindergarten (TK) or Kindergarten in the upcoming school year who have not had any classroom experience. The focus is to prepare children for a successful entry into the classroom.First 5 of Kern In-home and center base education and support programReferrals: Helps individuals and families access other services offered through county and community programs and provides access to food and clothing assistance.Utility Assistance: Access to Heap applications and technicians for Mojave residents.Emergency Closet: Food pantry and hygienic necessities.Monthly Diaper Supply: Access to free monthly diaper supply. To qualify bring one of the following: WIC benefits, Calfresh/EBT benefits, proof of income.
